1 Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Player", or "You") and SwiftUp ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and play of Hide & Play (the "Game"), including our online matchmaking servers, voice chat relays, and related services.

By downloading, installing, launching, or playing Hide & Play, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are explicitly prohibited from using the Game and must immediately uninstall it from your devices.

2 Limited License Grant

Subject to your strict compliance with these Terms, SwiftUp grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and play Hide & Play on personal mobile devices (Android and iOS) solely for your non-commercial, personal entertainment.

Restrictions of Use

You agree not to, directly or indirectly:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, decrypt, or attempt to derive the source code of the Game or its network protocols.
• Modify, translate, adapt, merge, or create derivative works of any game art, audio assets, or code.
• Use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, speed-hacks, memory editors, or third-party packet sniffing software.
• Disrupt, overload, or aid in the disruption of any online relay servers or local Wi-Fi multicast networks.
• Exploit any glitches or bugs for unfair competitive advantages in public online matches.

3 In-Game Virtual Items & Diamonds (💎)

• No Monetary Value: Virtual items, caps, outfits, voices, and currencies hold zero cash value, cannot be redeemed for fiat currency, and cannot be traded, bartered, or sold outside the Game.
• Earning Currency: Players earn Coins through active gameplay achievements and sprint races, and earn Diamonds voluntarily by viewing rewarded sponsor videos via Google AdMob or in-game milestone events.
• No Real-Money Gambling: The Game does not facilitate real-money wagering, casino betting, or cash prize pay-outs.
• Permanent License Status: In-game cosmetic purchases grant a non-transferable license to use the item within your local game save. If you reset your local data via the in-game reset button, local virtual item balances are reset.
• Platform Gaming Services: On supported devices, the Game authenticates via Google Play Games Services or Apple Game Center to sync your player ID and game achievements. If you cancel or decline platform gaming services, an anonymous local UUID is used without impairing gameplay.
• In-App Purchase Binding & Restoration: In-app purchases are fulfilled through Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit. Transactions are bound to your pseudonymized account identifier (via obfuscated_account_id on Android and appAccountToken on iOS). Non-consumable purchases and eligible entitlements can be restored at any time via the in-game Restore Purchases button.

4 Spatial Voice Chat & Code of Conduct

Hide & Play features real-time, proximity-based voice chat powered by high-definition Opus audio. Because voice chat is live and user-generated, all players must abide by our Community Standards:

Player Protection Tools

We provide full tactical controls within the HUD and Lobby:

• Instant Mute: You can mute your own microphone at any millisecond with a single tap.
• Peer Muting: You can mute any specific player in your room whose voice you do not wish to hear.
• Deafen Mode: You can deafen incoming audio to play in silence.

SwiftUp is not responsible or legally liable for real-time unmoderated audio spoken by third-party players in game rooms. However, players can report offending room codes and nicknames using the in-game Feedback Modal (or via email), which will result in permanent server connection blocks for bad actors.

5 Intellectual Property Ownership

All rights, titles, and interests in and to Hide & Play—including but not limited to the game mechanics, four-phase state machine, 2D character designs, Kerala homestead assets (Tharavadu, Aalthara, Kinar), sound effects, animations, user interface, brand name, and server code—are the exclusive intellectual property of SwiftUp and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

The Hide & Play name, logo, and artwork may not be used in connection with any third-party product or service without prior written authorization from SwiftUp.

6 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

"As Is" and "As Available": The Game is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted, bug-free operation.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall SwiftUp, its founders, directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, device damage, or interruption of internet services) arising out of or related to your use of the Game.

7 Termination

We reserve the right, without notice and in our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your ability to connect to our online matchmaking servers if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive or malicious behavior. You may terminate your agreement with us at any time simply by uninstalling the Game and requesting data erasure via our Data Deletion Portal.

8 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SwiftUp is registered, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in competent courts of jurisdiction.
